Participating in and supporting Reno bike week is a great way to lead a healthier lifestyle. It also supports a cleaner, more eco-friendly community. Reno Bike Week begins on May 13, 2018 and there are many events in the Reno-Sparks area to enjoy. 

Kiwanis Biggest Little Bike Sale and Swap- May 5 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. At the Snowflake Pavilion at Idlewild Park (2055 Idlewild Dr, Reno)

Cyclofemme- May 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Patagonia Outlet (130 S Center St, Reno). A celebration of women on bikes. 

Bike Repair Clinic-  from May 14 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at Centennial Plaza (1421 Victorian Ave, Sparks).  Free safety check, tune up, and basic repairs on bicycles in RTC’s Centennial Plaza in Sparks provided by RTC Washoe and Reno Bike Project. 

Slow Roll- May 16 at Wingfield Park. A casual group ride leaving from Wingfield Park beginning at 7:00 pm.

Commuter Convoy and Ride for Reading (formerly known as the Mayoral Challenge)- May 17 at the Reno City Plaza (10 N Virginia St, Reno) at 10:00 am. "The route is approx. 4.5 miles: Start at City Plaza to the Downtown library to pick up books for Ride of Reading, drop off books to Hunter Lake Elementary via California, loop back to the City Plaza for refreshments via the Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway."

Kids Triathlon- May 19 with a 7:30 am. check in. Events include swimming, running and biking courses. Participants must register by May 10. 

Riding on the River-May 19 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Cottonwood Park (777 Spice Islands Dr, Sparks). Join the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Sparks and Just Serve for bike rides on the Truckee River bike path, games in the park and more. 

Commuter Challenge- A week-long challenge to log the miles you've put in on your bicycle each day to be entered into a drawing to win a Washoe County Bike Week 2018 Prize Package.
